Orange is any link (user or just a link to a site) that you haven't clicked. Blue is a clicked link. So if the user is blue, you've checked their profile and if it's orange you haven't.

So was I at 1st and I set up the site! I used a theme that suited the banner at the top and that's just how it set up.
