Chat Room?

Potential idea too. Will help shed loads I reckon to draw people into the community if there's always people online to talk to, as well as topics in the forum.

I was actually thinking of introducing a chat room when we get up to about 75-100 members. Chat rooms work really well if there are people online. When there's just 1 person though....

lol - Our WoW guild (Yes, you can shoot me now if you like) uses a free AJAX chat script, i can even access it from work lol... If you want a link to find out about it i can get you one ^^

is that world of warcraft ur on about? never played it but if i had more time i would i recon, used to play 'spore' quite a bit but its on my pc and its easyer to use the net book recently.

I think its worth setting a chat room up sooner rather than later. You need to encourage people onto the site, and the more forums features and pull factors there are, the better.

And Ive been on many times and seen people online - and wamnted to chat, hence the suggestion.

Not a bad idea fluxx. I'll look into it today. Know any widgets to add a chat room?

Didn't you see the big chat box at the bottom of the main page? I worked it out already

Does that chat automatically log you in?

Sorry Olly has no option to auto log in, you have to click join. Also, and I don't know if you've noticed, I've also added a music player to the right hand side of the page. I just put a few tunes peeps said they liked in the top 10 thread, but I'm open to suggestions in the announcement I made (which I'm guessing you also didn't see as I mentioned it there). The top stickied posts are announcements I make that you can see in any forum.
