Almost. I thought I had down the mix I wanted, mixed it today and it's like 12 minutes too short, need to chuck 3 or 4 more tunes in. I remember when I couldn't make 15 tunes fit in an hour, and now 16 is 48 minutes. I must mix faster now lol.

Quick update. Silver is in the process of listening to samples from you guys and then he will let us know when we will be doing the show. Things have slowed a little his end as he has just put up new servers for happyhardcore.com and they are playing up a bit, but stuff is still happening Smile

Had problems getting a suitable time on Krafty. I don't know if HHC would be happy if we stream the same show on multiple stations or not, when Silver has sorted out his server stuff I'll ask what he thinks (don't wanna piss off the people giving us a shot). Maybe if the 1st show takes off make a 2nd show with the same guys?

Hell yea. I'll be having all the tracks available for download, the latest weeks available through a SoundCloud account I'll make for the show, and I'm investigating what I need to do to make them available free through iTunes.

Radio show is live. Podcasts are a downloads that are done on a regular basis.

. A podcast is like a mix, but it's done on a regular (usually weekly or monthly) basis.

No harm in putting the weekly show up for download as the NEC and HBC have done.

Also a hosted show containing music and promo's with general news and banter would be cool. People like that.

Exactly what I had in mind. I'm sourcing a good place to store everything for free download as we speak, and the show will def be hosted, either by each DJ doing the mix, or if they don't do a voice over I will add my stupidity over it Razz

. Only hard part is banter, as that usually involves 2 or more people, and as we all live all over the globe getting together to record a show may be difficult.

So far we have 11 "resident" dj's and 3 guest DJ's.

Does this mean we'll be on an 11 week rotation? Also, anyone got any Theme's planned for their mixes?

I like to think of myself as an educator, my mixes are going to be themed 'Education of freeform from around the world'. So my first one will be more European based, FINRG, EE, etc... I dont tend to play newer stuff, so if people are planning on doing mainly UK stuff and mainly new stuff, my mixes will slot in quite nicely Smile

Edit: 12 week rotations (3 months) if we have a guest mix every rotation.

I think mine will probably have some sort of loose theme. Best to have some sort of ethos/idea to provide direction. But it will purely be whatever mood I'm in at the time.

I'll be taking stuff from all over the shop, so won't really be FinRG etc heavy, so no worries there Dyz.
